Breakout Operator - $17/Hour, Full-Time, No Probationary Period, Willing to Train

Tired of your dead-end job and want to get in on the ground floor of an exciting opportunity of a plant start up? We have a break for you!

Opportunity is Knocking

James Hardie is opening a new plant in the Frederickson area and we are looking for new operators to assist with the start up. The Breakout Operator is an integral member of the James Hardie Building Products team, responsible for working with machinery, our product, and other employees to create high quality fiber cement building products. This position works in roughly a 20 foot area and is the first employee to work with the product on the finishing line. If you have an eye for details and love a fast-paced environment this is great for you. The Breakout Operator will become intimately familiar with our types of products and will be responsible for identifying machinery risks and problems and troubleshooting as need.

Do You Have What It Takes?

We want a burning passion for safety, product quality, customer service, and the success of those around you.

The best Breakout Operators are problem solving, self-motivated, level-headed, and will strive to understand complex processes and procedures and then challenge themselves and others for continuous improvement and high product quality. The most successful Breakout Operators embrace progressive thinking and are willing to work on multiple assignments throughout the shift.

Someone with a stable work history and the ability to demonstrate past successes related to a manufacturing or similar production environment. Two or more years in manufacturing is a plus, but if you have a passion to try something new, we would love to hear from you – we are willing to train.

As a 24/7 manufacturing facility of fiber cement building products, we ask that you be able to:

• Work 12-hour shifts and be open to rotating between days and nights during the start-up timeframe.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Walk, stand and/or sit for extended period of time.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Learn and be comfortable operating large forklifts and other heavy equipment.
• Work around bulk raw materials, moving equipment, high pressure water, varying temperatures and other environmental conditions related to cement board manufacturing.
• Use multiple types of personal protective equipment.
