As a member of the Human Resources (HR) team reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Operator Trainer ensures the efficient daily operation of a forklift in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment by ensuring that Operators have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned job tasks. In this role, the Operator Trainer is responsible for the execution of the Company’s training and career path program for hourly operators, updating training materials to correspond with new procedures and monitoring activities and performance on the manufacturing floor  to meet safety, quality and production design goals in addition to cost objectives, as well as promoting a strong team atmosphere.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4 year degree preferred
  • 2+ years supervisor/leadership position including, interviewing, performance management, discipline, training, and development.
  •  2+ years experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment to Industry experience 
  • Leadership/management experience (if applicable) 
  • Strong computer skills including Excel
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience
