Our Tax Department is growing! As a member of the Income Tax Team, the Staff Tax Accountant will support the tax group with various tax matters including but not limited to tax accounting and reporting under ASC 740 and federal and state tax compliance. In executing the responsibilities required of this position the Tax Accountant interacts with a variety of accounting and finance personnel throughout the Company.



  • Assist in preparation of the following:
    • Federal book/tax differences supporting workpapers.
    • Quarterly estimated income tax returns and extensions.
    • State apportionment workpapers.
    • Quarterly ASC740 tax provision workbook.
  • Also prepares:
    • State and local income tax returns.
    • Quarterly forecasted and year to date actual permanent and temporary differences.
    • Quarterly and year end reports for Federal, State, AMT and E&P tax depreciation.
    • Quarterly year end gain/loss reports.
  • Update quarterly and annual reconciliation of tax accounts
  • Review asset additions for proper useful life and compliance with capitalization policy.
  • Reconcile GAAP to tax balances.
  • Respond to federal and tax notices.
  • Support in defense of federal and state income tax audits
  • Support in analysis of implication of changes in federal and state tax laws.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA license or eligible to sit for CPA exam.
  • 2-3 years experience with multi state filing for Corporation, Partnership
  • Public Accounting experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to report to office once Covid conditions allow
