The Plant Finance Associate position is a training role which serves to develop a solid understanding of various office functions and lay the basic foundation for growth into the Plant Cost Accountant position. This position will be fully responsible for production entry and raw material receiving on a daily basis. You will provide purchasing support for the Plant Buyer and alternate various responsibilities with the Plant Cost Accountant. This position will be responsible for analyzing and communicating information to plan management as well as key teams across the corporation and will spend time cross-training to become versed in all functions. Play a key role in identifying process improvements and leading the way to successfully implement them. As a member of the Accounting team, the Intermediate Accountant reports to the Plant Controller.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Demonstrated intermediate Excel
• Proven ability to communicate at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems and think independently about alternative ways to solve problems based on analysis of data.
• Ability to offer advanced solutions based on collected, summarized, and analyzed data.
