Position Description

The Brand Marketing Sr Director will own a comprehensive view of our overall brand marketing strategy across B2B and B2C. This is done in collaboration with key departmental leaders and cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Marketing Sr. Director will manage a growing team and direct all aspects of our brand marketing efforts to postioins it as a world class consumer brand marketing organization.  
In addition, this person will partner with the Insights leader to effectively and efficiently execute our strategy and goals.

  • Be the go-to person for overall marketing management as it pertains to our brand strategy, execution, content, public relations, creative and return on investment.
  • Plan and implement the overall brand marketing strategy, identifying the key brand initiatives to prioritize that will drive awareness.
  • Execute our full digital strategy to build additional brand awareness and further drive the company’s strategic vision and business objectives.
  • Create a brand planning calendar, manage ongoing timelines and responsibility of budget allocation and reporting.
  • Drive innovation and impact our advertising strategy with new strategies
  • Effectively communicate and ensure consistency in brand image, brand messaging, and product messaging across all external channels including, platform, traditional, digital, social media and PR
  • Develop strategic points of view and uncover unique creative opportunities for our teams and customers.
  • Develop strategies and manage marketing campaigns across social media platforms.
  • Develop and lead James Hardie’s content strategies and content strategy processes, and oversee content strategy team for the James Hardie’s brand.
  • Anticipates customer (product) and marketplace needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them.

Skills And Qualifications

  • 15+ years’ experience in marketing with a focus on developing overall brand strategy in a B2B2C environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading, inspiring, and developing a team
  • Experience in rethinking, evolving, building new marketing strategies for a business with compelling business results
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient execution while balancing big-picture thinking
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level; ideate and directly execute
  • Ability to be a positive, enthusiastic leader who knows how to facilitate and synchronize diverse views and talent
