The Senior Demand Forecast Analyst is a key member of the  organization, integral to supporting the James Hardie organization in achieving Company objectives. The scope of the role includes ownership of short-range and long-range volume forecasting and analysis across James Hardie’s North America business. This role provides the incumbent a unique opportunity to not only showcase significant analytical capabilities, but also drive meaningful process and analytic improvements that directly contribute to senior leadership decision-making. The role offers an opportunity to gather high cross-functional exposure – including sales, pricing, demand planning and supply chain.



•    Lead business sales forecast generation process
•    Compile and analyze historical data considering seasonal trends
•    Develop forecast using basic statistical tools and layer in insights from business partners
•    Communicate forecast confidence, including risks and opportunities, to relevant functional groups within both organizations
•    Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy while driving continuous improvement



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field
  • 4+ years of experience with forecasting
  • 2+ years demand or volume analysis experience
  • Experience building and managing large data models – data manipulation, advanced math and statistical modeling preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, BO, APO strongly preferred
