Position Description


The Sr. Director, Digital Product will be responsible for redesigning and developing a strategy for UX marketing experiences such as web and apps.    This role is responsible for leading all phases of end-to end digital product management and development from ideation and assessment, through strategy execution and digital product launch, to ongoing monitoring of implementation tactics and results. The Sr. Director, DIgital Product combines digital domain expertise and knowledge of digital platforms and technology with business strategy and consumer insights in a B2C and B2B enviorment.


  • Develop roadmap for application, web and other digital capabilities for execution with other leaders such as brand, media, and insight markeing leaders
  • Redisign and develop the customer experience across channels with a simplified seemless user experience approach
  • Enhance brand awareness within the digital space as well as drive website traffic and acquire leads and customers
  • Determine insights in digital market conditions and competition.  Identify new digital business development and partnership opportunities
  • Syndication of digital experience through customer e-commerence portals.
  • Work closely with IT to support develop required to improve website and application functionality and effectiveness
  • Measure ROI and KPIs and determine investment in initiatives on a daily basis
  • Monitor competition and deliver effective strategies and tactics to drive performance
  • Stay up to date with digital technology developments
  • Develop a roadmap that maximize opportunities to drive the business through advancing the consumer experience in a data driven fashion
  • Use data, including KPIs, market research, and testing methods, to identify ways to conceptualize and advance the digital product app offerings
  • Delivering defined solutions, with a focus on solutions being on time, on budget, with high quality and value
  • Identifying and resolving risks and issues, integrating the experiences where applicable and incorporating learnings for continuous improvement
  • Drive senior executive decision-making through creation of executive-level dashboards, strategic analyses, business case, risk assessments and trade-off analyses. 
  • Providing thought leadership and strategic input to innovate and deliver new ideas based on research of end-user consumer behavior, the industry, and on technology advancement (e.g. focus groups, personas, Alpha/Beta testing)


Skills And Qualifications

  • Degree in related field
  • Additional experience in one or more of the following areas: Web, Mobile, User Experience Technology Strategy, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Analytics
  • 15+ years digital solution development work experience
  • 10+ years leading mobile apps
  • 10+ years leading multidisciplinary teams in a large, cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Macintosh and PC hardware and software knowledge. Specifically, the Adobe CS, the Microsoft Office suite and Visio
  • Experience is developing and institutionalizing strategy and standards in large complex organizations
  • Experience leading strategy, product, design and development teams
  • iOS and Android experience
  • Ability to seamlessly alternate between dealing with highly technical teams and non-technical business teams
  • Experience developing prototypes and participating in innovation exercises.
  • Strong skills in the following areas: organizational savvy, ability to handle multiple programs, attention to detail, relationship-building, strong communication skills, high accountability
