As the Recruiting Manager you will create, drive and lead job function specific sourcing, attraction and pipelining strategies across all functions for the North America business. Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition, this role will is responsible for increasing our recruiting capabilities to identify and attract talent in key U.S. markets for exempt professional recruiting.


This role will ensure to keep us relevant and current, bringing the outside in from both a tools and trends perspective as well as the competitive landscape on talent with an eye on implementing best practice processes. This role will lead a team of Recruiters, Recruitment Coordinators and a Sourcer that will focus on generating passive candidates for our current and future business needs. The role will also build the marketing capability of our recruitment team, helping to identify and drive social media opportunities to build our employer brand and overall talent demand for key roles.

With a focus on daily operational performance, synchronizing supply with demand, optimizing service delivery, and maximizing customer satisfaction. Establish goals for performance improvement, and monitor trends in key performance indicators. Collaborate with Recruitment team and Hardie management to deliver training on processes, tools and systems. Continually assess the effectiveness of recruiting tools and processes. Ensures resource needs of the department achieve key metrics while providing effective recruiting, on-boarding, orientation, and training.


Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across HR, Recruiting and Functional Leadership Teams as it relates to talent sourcing and executive recruitment
- Challenge the status quo and myths with stakeholder populations to get better solutions and business outcomes.

Identification of needs and sourcing solutions
- Develop pro-active external talent strategies that are effective and efficient.
- Develop and execute best in class sourcing strategies to meet business needs.

Business Education and Insights
- Share External market insights with functional leadership teams and HM’s to deliver better outcomes.

People and Resource Management
- Enable a high performing work culture across the team and develop direct reports though helping them be at their best and setting them up for success.
- Manage and track any area/functional TA spend with a cost conscious mindset, seeking regional approval for any unbudgeted requirements
TA Outcomes/KPIs
- Develop strategies to drive our Business Outcome Metrics for Talent Acquisition around quality of hire, cost per hire, direct sourcing, time to fill, and our employer of choice brand index. Process driven mindset to drive consistent, reliable results.

-Hands on Recruiting on senior level roles.



• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Recruitment or Search/ Sourcing, leading people.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Recruitment Marketing and Employer Attraction

• In-house or Client based RPO Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment expertise and experience including understanding of the latest trends and methodologies

- High Growth and/or Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

• Bachelors / Undergraduate degree level or equivalent
• Comfort working across a matrix environment and influencing various stakeholders at all levels without authority
• Ability to manage and participate in multiple projects, priorities, and client groups, manage timelines, and escalate issues as needed
• Ability to work with diverse and remote teams located across time zones
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to research best practices and network internally and externally
• Ability to manage conflicting stakeholder interests and escalate as needed
• Able to travel 5%
