Position Summary


The Organizational Development (OD) Specialist provides direct support for key programs and processes within the talent management lifecycle including performance management, employee engagement, employee learning and inclusion and diversity. This position has a customer-focused mindset and builds valuable relationships and partnerships. The OD Specialist acts as a key contact for the HRBPs, managers and employees to address program and technology questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.


The Position is located in Chicago.


Position Responsibilities


Ensures the development and implementation of Talent Management initiatives by:


  • Providing project and process management support for a variety of talent management and learning programs including performance management, learning and development, and inclusion and diversity initiatives.
  • Generating reports to leverage data and analytics to support talent-based decisions and measure the effectiveness of programs.
  • Assisting with maintaining and updating the global talent management processes, tools, and resources to ensure consistency, accuracy, timely, and cost-effective delivery. These may include job aids, needs assessments, training materials, surveys, metrics and SharePoint document management.
  • Assisting in monitoring technology enhancements and improvements offered within talent systems and share relevant knowledge with the talent management team to support program development and enhancements.
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with customers, providing solutions for immediate and long-term talent management and learning needs.
  • Serving as a primary facilitator and producer for LMS programs, both virtual and in-person facilitation.
  • Supporting overall team requests – planning, reporting, system testing, communication, program support, etc.





  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years or more in Talent supporting processes and programs with associated technology in one or more of the following: Performance Management, Talent Assessment, Leadership & Employee Development, or other related HR disciplines.
  • Two years of in-person and virtual training facilitation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a team and cross-functionally across the organization
  • Ability to leverage data in decision making
  • Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines are continually evolving.
  • Self-motivated and driven desire to produce high quality results
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or relevant performance management system preferred
