The Marketing Manager will lead all facets of James Hardie’s retail and interior product marketing strategy and execution. Your experience in both brand management and retail shopper marketing, inclusive of commercializing new product launches in store, online, and through effective engagement of retail sales associates will be highly regarded.

Key areas of responsibility include: Brand strategy and positioning, development and execution of strategic marketing plans, product commercialization, media and communications, project management, marketing analytics, and a high-degree of communication and partnership with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in a corporate marketing environment; with a preferred focus on channel/retail and shopper marketing required
  • Experience working with Home Depot and Lowe’s (strongly preferred), specifically on in store execution
  • Specific work experience in marketing, sales, advertising, project management, administrative support operations, written communications, and documentation management are highly desirable
  • Must be able to create, execute and manage comprehensive integrated marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
  • Proven ability to effectively navigate through ambiguous situations
  • Self-starter with high sense of personal accountability
  • Able to manage and motivate people through influence, this person is able to build strong relationships with a wide range of people
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing dynamic new channel/market strategies
  • Exceptional verbal and report presentation abilities
