As a functional leader within the finance organization, reporting directly to the leader of the Global FP&A team with a dotted line to the Transformation Management Office (TMO), the FP&A Process & Systems Sr. Manager  will use proven process improvement and project management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, every day! Drive global standardization across James Hardie’s reporting, planning and budgeting processes, and lead the implementation of incremental change initiatives across the global finance organization and act as a though leader on a range of process and finance-related issues and exhibit the Company’s core values and principles in interfacing with other senior finance and operations personnel.


Your will be responsible for driving standardization across the global business, comprised of three geographic regions (North America, APAC & Europe). This includes weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting, the planning and forecasting activities for all parts of the business, and the rolling three-year plan which drives long-term strategic planning. Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Head of Transformation Management Office and the Global Controller to drive the long-term vision of standardization and systemization across FP&A process and outputs. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about the organization and develop relationships with finance and business leaders across the global enterprise. This individual will need to recognize the different perspectives and priorities of executives and functional groups within the Company to effectively meet the diverse needs and timing of the various business leaders.



  • Accountable for Finance Business Processes & Applications
  • Lead the project team in the rollout of the future state planning tool
  • Accountable for new Finance Release and Upgrades


To be considered for this position you must have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 10+ years of finance experience, including 2+ years FP&A experience
  • Experience in evaluating, designing and implementing end to end processes and the associated policies, SOPs, and control systems
  • 5+ years of proven team leadership
  • Expert in business process interdependencies with major ERP
  • Strong cross functional communication skills
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (estimated at 10%)
