As a member of Customer Operations, you are part of a fast-paced, critical thinking, and high pressure environment.  Our representatives are always on top of their game, constantly providing support to our customer base, Sales team, all facets of Supply Chain and other departments within the organization. You are the face of James Hardie, on the front lines for our customers and the organization, requiring you to apply basic technical knowledge while effectively leveraging available resources and prioritizing issues.

You will be held accountable for issue resolution via phone and email, order entry, as well as providing status updates from when an order is placed to when it is delivered – and always providing service with a smile. We pride ourselves on constantly improving our processes, which means part of your success at James Hardie includes brainstorming and creating new ways to be more efficient and effective. With experience comes new responsibilities, and high performing team members will manage dashboards, reporting, basic analysis and projects.  We hold ourselves to a high standard of individual accountability for results and excellent customer service.

  • Dependability/ Follow Up: Timely responsiveness & proactive follow up on issues.
  • Problem Solve:  Troubleshoot and problem solve leveraging knowledge, resources, qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Communication:  Provide professional & appropriate internal/external communication as well as progress updates to all stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Adapting to change with ease, and helping customers with change management.
  • Cross-functionality: A desire to learn about different areas of the organization’s process and jump in to assist. Being a team player who wants to advance the goals of the organization.
  • Desire for growth: Listens to and seeks out feedback, with the intent to understand and adjust behaviors as needed.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 yrs. working experience, preferably in a customer-centered, high urgency environment
  • Experience operating under minimal supervision, acting in an autonomous manner
  • Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
  • Excel knowledge preferred
  • SAP knowledge and experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail + heavy data-entry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of Business, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:
