Finance Manager-Building Rebate

Position Summary

 

The Builder Rebates Program Manager is a dynamic role that includes data analysis, builder rebate approvals, field auditing supervision, and interactions with mid and senior level sales managers.  The incumbent will have a blend of strong analytical and commercial skills.  The role has three reports including remote staff to validate over 1500 programs executed in the filed.

  • Proven ability to think strategically, thoroughly understand complex business requirements, make senior-level presentations, and high-level business case justifications.
  • Proven ability to display superior project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports with discount analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues through the balance of data, quality tools/processes and what is right for the business; to leverage the collective strength of the team for an optimal outcome in a changing environment.
  • Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.
  • Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
  • Exceptional team building skills and internal alliance building capabilities to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and successful stress tolerance.
  • Ability to objectively coach, influence, and mentor employees and management through complex or difficult issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TM1, MS Access, Internet, and other proprietary software.
  • Limited travel as needed

 

 Preferred Experience:

 

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and ability to understand the business model
  • Financial acumen with emphasis on working within the Finance or Pricing domain

 

 

Education/Experience:

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • 5 or more years of professional experience (quantitiative degree, business, mathemenatics, engineering or equivalent)
