Job Description: "Are you looking for a second career? Are you in an undergraduate program at a local university and need extra money? If so, check our new PART-TIME Opportunity as a James Hardie Retail Merchandiser. Flexible part time hours - up to 20 hours a week! In this position, you will work to strategically target potential customers at the Home Depot's and Lowe's stores to generate and grow new business. The incumbent also positions the company's value proposition and whole-product solution to the customer to build and enhance strong customer relationships and to become a strong business partner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:: Sells the Company's product 'in the isle' to contractors via in-store channels (Lowe's and Home Depot), and at appropriate events . Educates partner store associates and consumers about Company products. Ensures proper merchandising and displays of in-store product to increase sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:: Ability to persuade and achieve sales success through customer education by highlighting the Company's value proposition. A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new industry trends and best sales practices and how they would interact with Company products. Willingness and ability to work from home office environment and structure a productive day with little to no supervision. Ability to work independently and with other sales team members. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to work weekends, as business need deems appropriate. Valid driver's license. Bilingual -English/Spanish (preferred)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Post high school education or combination of equivalent work experience (Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Sales and Marketing, or related field preferred). Course work and/or work experience in marketing, advertising, project management, administrative support operations, written communications, and documentation management."
