Job Description: "As a member of the maintenance improvement program reporting to the Maintenance Improvement Manager, the Reliability Engineer performs functions to implement a preventive /predictive maintenance program which will maximize site equipment reliability and develop strategies and methods that improve site preventive/predictive maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES:: Ground up population of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Work and collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain specific targets, strategies and tactics to maximize equipment availability to drive asset productivity improvements. Work closely with maintenance and/or production personnel to resolve chronic equipment related issues by appropriately using reliability tools such as: Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM); Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA); Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA); and Predictive technologies such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and acoustic monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS:: Strong communication skills, written, oral, and interpersonal. Attention to detail, and continual diligence about follow-up. Must be able to lead and be a part of cross functional teams. Knowledgeable of root cause and fault tree analysis techniques. Demonstrated advanced skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and other proprietary software). CMMS skills in MP2 or similar systems.

As our Mechanical Project Engineer you will be tasked with many challenging opportunities that will contribute to the overall growth of the business. As a member of the Construction Department reporting to the Project Manager, you will work on Capital Projects including new installations and modifications and will be responsible for all mechanical equipment and systems. You should be capable of working independently on small capital projects and will also have a working knowledge of electrical systems which will enable you to manage medium to large capital projects in the future.



RESPONSIBILITIES:: Responsible for the mechanical portion of capital projects; Supervise mechanical design including plant layout, equipment arrangement, piping and instrumentation, plant utilities; Supervise structural design including buildings, foundations and slabs, access platforms, equipment and crane support structures; Develop specifications and purchase mechanical equipment and systems including process equipment, material handling equipment, complex machinery, fluid systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, and high pressure water), material conveyance systems, dust collection systems, storage silos, tanks, pumps, and valves - monitor and expedite deliveries; Satisfy permit requirements including local building codes and FM; Prepare installation scope of work, bid and award contracts; Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality;


QUALIFICATIONS:: Knowledge of Mechanical Building Codes and OSHA standards (preferred). Knowledge of Equipment and Machine Design Standards and Specifications including AWS, ANSI, ASTM (preferred). Demonstrated advanced skills with the standard features of personal computers including word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft Word and Excel, Project, Power Point, Outlook, and Internet Explorer). Developed a familiarity with and ability to work in Autocad drawing software including the ability to view and print drawings and make changes. Advanced drawing skills are preferred. Well organized, with the ability to multi-task. Must be able to lead and be a part of cross functional teams.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) 4 or more years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (sheeted process systems such as paper, steel, gypsum is preferred). Project Management Experience; Demonstrated Successful Execution including design and specification, purchase, installation, and startup of mechanical equipment. Experience with complex machinery and mechanical equipment; Experience with Utility and Process Piping Systems including pumps, valves, fittings and in line components, and pipe support systems; Experience with mechanical systems including Hydraulics, Pneumatics, High Pressure Water, Compressed Air, and Natural Gas."
