Title: International Business Development Analyst

Job Description: "Position Summary The Business Development Analyst will complete international market assessments and feasibility analyses while developing business plans for new organizational initiatives that will capitalize on opportunities for growth and business development. The Analyst has the opportunity to help shape the strategy and growth/direction of JH's overseas business, with an emphasis on markets where JH is already established. This position is responsible for financial analysis, capital budgeting analysis, risk and cost analysis, forecasting, variance & project feasibility analysis, and presentation of budget & forecasts. Position

RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Analyze and identify incremental and breakthrough growth opportunities as well business issues outside operational mainstream ? Lead implementation planning; take responsibility for execution of strategies ? Participate in the development of business plans and strategic initiatives ? Conduct preliminary market assessments, using primary and secondary sources. ? Develop financial models to assess value of proposition. ? Work with Legal Counsel to address key legal, structural, and business issues • Participate in deal origination to acquisition process (deal identification, technical/financial/legal due diligence, presentation of the proposal to senior management) • Act as a liaison between all parties involved, managing activities and communications in order to keep the consideration and initiation of opportunities progressing and on schedule. • Ensure required project information is regularly communicated to senior leadership and the appropriate outside parties. • Initiate, establish, and maintain business relationships with all key stakeholders of the project, whether internal or external to the organization (collaborators, sponsors, and business partners). Position Requirements The candidate must have strong analytical and financial skills including sophisticated modeling, risk analysis, and project economic analysis. In addition, the incumbent must possess: • Strategic and analytical thinking skills • Experience with or strong exposure to overseas markets (preferably Europe and Asia Pacific) • Experience with deal origination, management of due diligences cycles involving financial, technical, commercial & legal diligences. • Deal structuring experience • Business Development experience • Strong communication and team playing skills • Possess strong presentation and writing skills • The ability to be a self-motivator that enjoys rapidly growing and changing environment • The ability to analyze strategically and identify needs and priorities • Aptitude to prepare and implement strategic business plans • Demonstrated superior conceptual and 'strategic' thinking and deep understanding of the business' needs and direction • Strong conceptual and analytical skills (numeric and qualitative). • Understanding of key emerging markets a plus Required Education and Experience • Bachelor's Degree required in Finance, Business Administration, International Business or similar (MBA Degree Preferred) • 2 to 6 years experience • Ability to travel 50+% • Business analytics, strategic planning, or strategic project management (experience within an internationally based company preferred)" Requisition Number: BUSDEV-729 Interest Category: Accounting / Finance Hourly/Salary: Salary City: Mission Viejo State: California Country: UNITED STATES Shift: Days
