ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Maintenance Mechanic in the Maintenance Department reporting to the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing support for the daily execution of the maintenance department’s operating plan. Working with the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Technicians, Operations, and Safety, Mechanics support department productivity and quality of workmanship for the purpose of increasing overall availability and reliability of equipment.



Responsibilities:

Implement strategic vision for maintenance and reliability to correct, coordinate, and support plant maintenance functions by: (65%):

- Supporting plans to reduce breakdowns, improve planned maintenance, optimize scheduled maintenance, and effectively execute down-day events;
- Maintaining the facility in a safe manner and to a standard level of equipment availability;
? Participating in the wash up day planning, half-time, and follow-up meetings;
? Incorporating plant delay items into weekly wash ups;
- Maintaining close contact with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance activities occur with minimal disruption to production operations;
- Recommending improvement in maintenance and operational procedures; and

? Capturing and recording necessary equipment and material history;
? Working with storeroom personnel to order replacement parts.

The Maintenance Mechanic position balances priorities, manpower, material, and equipment availability to improve individual efficiency and performance.


Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for completing projects, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.
Scope of Position:
The Maintenance Mechanic will support all maintenance and facilities activities. These duties will include electrical, mechanical, lubrications, safety, engineering, and reliability functions to assist the maintenance department with increased reliability and availability of equipment.

Education/Experience:

Required:

Education/Experience:
Required:
- 3 or more years maintenance experience in a continuous operating (24/7) manufacturing environment.
•- Strong electrical and mechanical technical knowledge.
- Experience working with a CMMS

Job Description:
Apply your financial and operational leadership skills to think of new and improved methods to improve efficiency at both the financial and plant level. As the Plant Controller you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of plant financial information, maintaining proper accounting controls to prevent loss and ensure compliance with GAAP, identifying opportunities to reduce costs/waste, and supporting the Plant Manager in efforts to improve the bottom line, customer service, and morale.

The Plant Controller reports directly to the Director of Finance who, in turn, reports directly to the U.S. Divisional CFO. The Plant Controller is responsible for Cost Accountants, AP Clerks, Production Clerks, Shipping Supervisors, and Purchasing Agents.



Responsibilities:
*
Functions as a business partner with the Plant Manager to effectively manage and control all facets of the plant’s efficiency and productivity ;
*
Manages others by providing ongoing development, mentoring, and strong learning experiences;
*
Provides operational financial reporting, financial analysis and manufacturing cost analysis; and
*
Acts as a financial consultant to mid-level and senior operational finance line staff such as Bench Controllers, G/L accountants, Cost Accountants, and Cost Analysts.



Qualifications:
*
Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Analysis processes and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
*
Demonstrated ability to successfully apply forecasting techniques and skills to develop and evaluate business goals and strategies, analyze information to derive insights and implications to initiate planning and/or re-planning, and controlling actual results versus budget.
*
Extensive “shop floor” experience in a manufacturing environment (not just assembly).
*
Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
*
Business acumen to elicit trust and credibility with all levels of the organization.
*
Demonstrated experience and ability in compiling annual operating plans and budgets.
*
Extensive experience with fixed asset and capital project tracking.
*
Exceptional knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley.
*
Demonstrated knowledge of operational accounting (cost accounting, including project costing).
*
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
*
Proven track record directing external resources to manage and execute effectively.
